| Meniscotherium This illustration of Meniscotherium was prepared by Lawrence B. Isham under the direction of Lewis Gazin, curator of fossil mammals at the Smithsonian Institution. Isham was staff artist at the museum from the mid 1950s -1983 and was a master artist. This illustration is an example of Isham's graphite technique, a technique known today among scientific illustrators as "the Isham technique". |
